Ramapo Machinima

This is a machinina clip for which I did the soundtrack for.

I did created this soundtrack as a favour for a great bunch of people working on the SecondLife Teen grid.

The project was presented to me as just the video with no soundtrack, a blank canvas if you will, not even an emotional time-line. There was just one song which was suggested they liked the "feel" of so that kind of pointed me in a slight direction.

I felt the clip called for a number of emotions ranging, sequentially through:

Dramatic - Here for the intro scene I opted for the "classic" dramatic intro using Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, J. S. Bach. This sets the scene.

Reflective and questioning - Here I used Soular - Tomorrow Never Comes, as this really does question and makes me ponder.

Up-beat and positive with potential - Here I used Folio - Friday Girl as this gives a weekend, let's realise the potential mood.

Reflective - Finally Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata opus 27 was used to give a slightly "real" sensation twinned with oddness, as the avatar and real world typing meet.
